AKRON, OH – Victor Faverty of Akron doesn’t like golf, but he might have changed his mind after winning $75,683 playing the EZPLAY Progressive Jackpot Game, Going Pro.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, Victor will receive $54,491.76. Victor purchased his winning ticket at TD Rowe Tobacco Outlet, located at 1899 Triplett Blvd. in Akron.

He usually plays the EZPLAY® Progressive Jackpot Game, Perfect Game 300, but when he saw the Going Pro jackpot getting higher, he decided to give it a try.   “The only golf I like is miniature golf, I was never into golfing, so Going Pro is now my favorite, this is my best golf score ever!” Victor said.

Victor has been lucky playing lottery games in the past, and he even appeared on the Cash Explosion Show once.
The win comes with perfect timing. Victor is a letter carrier for the US Postal Service, and he’s nearing retirement. He plans to use some of his winnings to pay off bills, and he’s putting the rest toward his retirement fund.
