Ohio man arrested in Times Square with AK-47, fully loaded magazine and bong mask

An Ohio man was arrested in Times Square after he was caught carrying an AK-47 rifle. The man was caught during a routine beat patrol by New York City Police Officers in the Times Square subway station. Police said the man had the rifle, a fully loaded magazine and a bong mask in his possession.

“This story could’ve had a tragically different ending, but thanks to these diligent cops it ends with the suspect in handcuffs,” the NYPD said in a statement.

18-year-old Saadiq Teague of Canal Winchester, just outside of Columbus was arrested Friday afternoon. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree; criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree; and criminal possession in the third degree relating to an ammunition clip.
