5-year-old child shot by crossfire inside his home in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – On April 17, 2021, at approximately 10:04 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 2200 block of Wilkens Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Upon officers arrival, they located a 5-year-old child suffering from a graze wound to the arm.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was inside of a home when a bullet came through the window, grazing the victim‘s arm.
