Prince George man wins $93k on $400 racetrack bet

by Jessica Woods

A Prince George’s County player found a winning combination of Racetrax horses that turned a $20 bet on 20 races into a $93,469 prize.

The 57-year-old placed a Superfecta bet that four horses — 7, 8, 9 and 10 — would place first, second, third and fourth in that exact order. The bold bet paid off big time for the Fort Washington resident.

The lucky Prince George’s County Lottery retailer is also a winner. For selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more, Tantallon Exxon located at 10815 Indian Head Highway in Fort Washington earned a $934.69 retailer bonus from the Lottery. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
