$50,000 lottery ticket sold in Leonia

LEONIA, NJ – One New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, May 5, drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. The ticket was sold at Leonia News & Stationery, 338 Broad Ave., Leonia in Bergen County.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, May 5, drawing were: 16, 23, 28, 40, and 63. The Red Power Ball number was 01. The Multiplier number was 02. 24,089 New Jersey players took home an estimated $122,619 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $157,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, May 8, at 10:59 pm.
