Baltimore man didn’t realize he was shot until he got home

BALTIMORE, MD – On May 6, 2021 at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment. Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old male who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his elbow. Central District shooting detectives are investigating this incident. The victim told detectives that he was walking on Monument Street at East Avenue when he heard gunshots. When he got home, he realized he had been shot.
