Brick Township father, son busted in Walmart cocaine deal

BRICK, NJ – A father and son have been arrested and charged after initiating an in-person drug deal between two vehicles in the parking lot of the Route 88 Walmart store. Police initiated a traffic stop on Scott Butler, 58 and Scott Buttler, Jr. 28. Father and son were both charged for possession of cocaine. Dad also received traffic citations and the younger Butler was charged for heroin and hypodermic syringes found in his possession. This arrest comes after the criminal element in town has long used a local Wawa store for their base of operations.
