SARASOTA, FL – The Sarasota community was on edge this morning after the report of an unknown man approaching a 15-year-old girl and touched her.

According to a report Monday morning, police began investigating the incident.

“We’re investigating a suspicious incident that happened Monday, May 10, 2021, in the 1500 block of 24th Street, Sarasota,” the department said. “At about 6:30 a.m., a female, age 15, was walking to her bus stop when she was approached from behind by an unknown man.
