Mo Hill team cries foul over Rodrick Team campaign literature

Shore News Network

Mo Hill and his candidates for public office in 2021 aren’t happy about a mailer sent out by their opponent Councilman Daniel Rodrick. Hill’s team today called the literature insensitive and inaccurate. The campaign mailer identifies Maria Maruca as a 16-year council member who oversaw the doubling of property taxes during that time and voted yes to approve $51 million in Sandy aid to build 567 apartments in North Dover.

The mailer also attacked Jason Crispin and David Ciccozzi. Both men have served on Toms River planning and zoning board respectively for over a decade. That decade saw a sharp increase in residential development in Toms River, particularly in North Dover.

Quinlisk, the mailer says was endorsed by the Toms River Jewish Community Council. Leaders of that council signed Quinlisk’s nominating petition.
