Two teens arrested for shooting of 19-year-old Jejuan Jones

COLUMBUS, OH – It took less than a few hours, but Columbus police have made two arrests in the Tuesday night shooting of 19-year-old Jejuan Jones. Jones was shot twice near South Princeton Avenue.

According to police, on May 11, 2021 at 9:15 pm, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of S. Princeton Ave. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 19-year-old Jejuan Jones, further north, on S. Princeton Ave., suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper arm and side.

Jones was transported to an area hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries.


Jones is listed in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries.19-year-old Cervontece Woolfork and a 17-year-old male were arrested.
