Rachel Maddow says she has to rewire herself to not see maskless Americans as a threat

What does wearing a face mask mean? Until today, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow said it meant you were a threat. Today, she said she has to rewire herself to not think of Americans not wearing face masks are no longer a threat to her or anyone else.

This comes after President Joe Biden and the CDC both announced the national mask mandate is over on Thursday.

“It is an amazing thing, I mean I will tell you at a personal level, I realized I feel like I’m going to have to rewire myself so when I see somebody out in the world who’s not wearing a mask, I don’t instantly think, you are threat,” the liberal progressive host said, laughing. “Or you are selfish or you are a COVID denier or you haven’t been vaccinated.”

She says she will have to change the way she thinks less of fellow human beings after the CDC announcement.
