Man wanted after robbing McDonald’s at gunpoint in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – A criminal is wanted for an extremely bizarre case of multiple armed robberies including a female clerk at a gas station and a nearby McDonald’s is being sought by police.

Columbus police today said at 6:02 am this morning, patrol officers responded to 777 E. Dublin Granville Rd. at the Shell gas station. The clerk had her cell phone taken by a white male suspect who displayed a black semi-auto handgun. The suspect left and went over to McDonald’s located at 6000 Sinclair Road which is directly east of Shell.

At 6:06 am, officers received a call from McDonald’s employees that they had just been robbed by a white male suspect with a black semi-auto handgun who took the cash register. The suspect then ran northbound to 821 E. Dublin Granville Rd. to the nearby Speedway Gas Station before fleeing.


A photo of the suspect was caught by the video surveillance system at Mcdonald’s restaurant. Video surveillance of the suspect was captured at all three listed locations.

Suspect description: white male, 5’5”- 5’10”, black long sleeve shirt, black & white bandanna over his face, jeans with rips on the front and back almost looking stone washed, black shoes or boots, and an olive green knit hat.
