Skeletal remains found in Galloway, police investigating

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP- A cooperative investigation is ongoing after the discovery of skeletal remains earlier this week in Galloway Township, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

On Monday, June 7, 2021 at approximately 8:38 AM, dispatch from the Galloway Township Police Department contacted the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit in reference to human remains that were found by a man in a wooded area at 187 South Pomona Road in Galloway. The remains have been determined to be that of a male. An autopsy has been completed and the results are pending.

The cooperative investigation continues between the ACPO Major Crimes Unit, the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Galloway Township Police Department.
