Suspect stabbed and killed man without cause or warning in Ft. Lauderdale

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is investigating the homicide of an adult male that occurred on Tuesday, June 1st, at approximately 4:09 p.m. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Northwest 22nd Road in the city of Fort Lauderdale.

Preliminary investigation has revealed the victim was approached by the suspect who then stabbed him without warning. The suspect immediately left the area.

The victim was transported to Broward Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as David Morgan, B/M, DOB 09/07/1981, a transient resident of the city of Fort Lauderdale.
