SWEETWATER, Tenn. — A two-day undercover operation involving HSI and multiple Tennessee local and state law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of six individuals accused of seeking illicit sex from minors.
As part of an undercover investigation aimed at addressed human trafficking in the region, authorities placed several decoy advertisements known to be linked to prostitution and commercial sex cases. As a result of the operation, the following individuals were arrested and booked on state charges.
The investigation was conducted by special agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI); Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Human Trafficking Unit; Sweetwater Police Department; Monroe County Sheriff’s Office; 10th Judicial District Drug & Violent Crime Task Force; and the office of 10th District Attorney General.
