JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – A fox that was presumed to be one that attacked another person prior in Jackson Township came out of the woods again this week to bite a 4-year-old Jackson Township girl playing in her yard with friends.

4-year-old Lilleth was reportedly picking flowers in her yard when she was attacked and bitten in the leg by the fox. Her older brother Matthew ran to her aid while the fox was still attached to her, said he grabbed and slammed the fox. He managed to keep hold of the fox until he and his mother were able to secure it under a basket.

The fox, now dead, is being tested.
