Passaic cops searching for hit and run suspect

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi announce that investigators are seeking the assistance of the public regarding any information that can be provided surrounding a hit-and-run crash that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 13, 2021, near 395 Route 3 East, in Clifton, New Jersey.

At approximately 8:13 a.m. officers responded to the area of 395 Route 3 East in the City of Clifton in response to a report of a body in the roadway. The body of a male was found at that location in the left-hand shoulder. The still-unidentified male was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
