Dog scared of fireworks, missing for 7 hours returns home, rings doorbell

Rajah was scared by the neighborhood fireworks and ran away from her home said owner Mary, 23. Mary drove through her neighborhood and posted a missing dog notice on Facebook, but could not find Rajah.

“She was in the backyard with our other dog and our neighbor started shooting off fireworks and I knew she’d be scared,” Mary, of Greenville, SC said. Mary and her husband Ryan were both awoken from their sleep at 3 am with the ringing of their doorbell. It was Rajah.

“She thought she was in so much trouble and she was sad and sulking, but we were like ‘we’re just happy you’re back,’” Mary said. “It was hilarious, and we couldn’t stop laughing.”
