Little League Baseball: Barnegat, Jackson, Toms River East, Manchester in Final Four

TOMS RIVER, NJ – With the Little League World Series back on the table in 2021 after being canceled due to COVID-19 in 2020, four Ocean County teams will now compete in a double-elimination tournament between Monday and Friday of this week.  Barnegat, Jackson, Toms River East, and Manchester will duke it out over the next 7 days in a grueling winner takes all tournament to be determined by Friday in a championship showdown in Beachwood.

Toms River East Little League heads into Monday night’s action as the favorite after going 4-0 in pool play, allowing just 2 runs against through the entire bracket.  Barnegat finished 3-1 and both Manchester and Jackson finished 2-2 but managed to win their crossover games.

Toms River East defeated Brick Little League 21-2, Barnegat knocked out Holbrook Little League and Jackson defeated Toms River Little League in a close 2-1 game.


Tonight, Jackson will play Toms River East at 6 pm. Barnegat will play Manchester at 8 pm. Both games will be played at Manchester Little League’s complex on Route 571. Last Monday, Toms River East defeated Jackson 15-0.
