Baltimore police department announces arrests of 25 murder suspects, some repeat offenders

Baltimore, MD – Today, the Baltimore Police Department announced the arrests of 25 homicide suspects since May 17, 2021. Of these 25 violent crime suspects, 10 are Repeat Violent Offenders.

“The men and women of the Baltimore Police Department continue to work tirelessly in identifying and apprehending those responsible for the gun violence throughout our city,” said Commissioner Michael Harrison. “We will continue to work aggressively in arresting those that illegally carrying firearms and using these weapons to perpetuate a culture of violence in our city, while working with our residents in creating a safer city.”

“These arrests send a clear message that gun violence will not be tolerated in Baltimore and those responsible for carrying out these cowardly acts will be held accountable,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. “If you senselessly take someone’s life, we will find you. I am deeply grateful to Baltimore Police Department and the members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and Homicide Division who continue to apprehend violent offenders.”
