Teen shot in the head, killed in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – An 18-year-old male has been shot dead in Baltimore, a victim of gun violence which has been on the rise in the city this year.

On July 6, 2021, at approximately 6:56 a.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of West Pratt Street for a shooting investigation.

Once at the location, officers located an 18-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased shortly after.
