Convicted Felon Arrested by Border Patrol

CALEXICO, CA – U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) agents assigned to the El Centro Sector arrested a Mexican citizen Thursday who had been previously convicted of multiple felonies and had illegally entered the United States.

The 38-year-old man was arrested in the city of Calexico minutes after he illegally entered the United States and was transported to the El Centro Sector Processing Center.

Records checks revealed the individual had multiple felony convictions and had been previously removed by an immigration judge. He will remain in custody, pending charges including illegal re-entry after deportation.
