When you elected an incoherent, senile old boomer who sometimes doesn’t know where he is or what day it is, you can’t be surprised when he says outlandish things you would expect Grandpa Simpson to say.
This week a reporter asked, “On COVID misinformation, what’s your message to platforms like Facebook?
“They’re killing people,” Biden responded to a reporter who asked how the social network is doing when it comes to fighting pandemic misinformation. “The only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated, and they’re killing people.”
Facebook, who White House officials say is working with the federal government to keep tabs on its users who are accused of spreading misinformation didn’t like the President’s remark.
“We will not be distracted by accusations which aren’t supported by the facts,” Facebook said in a statement. “The fact is that more than 2 billion people have viewed authoritative information about COVID-19 and vaccines on Facebook, which is more than any other place on the internet. More than 3.3 million Americans have also used our vaccine finder tool to find out where and how to get a vaccine. The facts show that Facebook is helping save lives. Period.”
