SHELBY, Al – On July 25th, 2021 at approximately 9:00 pm, Shelby County 911 Dispatch received a call in reference to an incident in the 100 block of Pine Street in the community of Shelby. Deputies from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area and discovered an adult male with serious injuries. First Responders attempted lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful.
The victim, 56-year-old David Allen Yearber of Shelby, was pronounced deceased on scene. Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and are currently investigating the incident.
