Police say man threatened to slash other driver’s throat after car crash

LANCASTER, PA – The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department arrested a man who threatened to slice a victim’s throat, then slammed a car door on him has been arrested.

NLCRPD arrested Joseph Michael Burns of Lititz with Misdemeanor Terroristic threats, 2 counts of Misdemeanor Simple Assault, Misdemeanor Disorderly conduct, and Misdemeanor Accidents involving damage to attended vehicles.  On July 23rd, NLCRPD responded to a report of a disturbance involving a physical altercation stemming from a crash that had occurred.  The investigation found Joseph threatened to slice the victim’s throat with a knife then slammed a car door on his ankle causing injury
