Two 16-year-olds arrested for murder of Baltimore man on July 1st

BALTIMORE, MD – Police in Baltimore have arrested two 16-year-olds who murdered a man on July 1st on West Mulberry Street.

“In reference to the homicide of 38 year-old Clark Hohrein (W/M), that occurred on July 1, 2021, in the 600 block of West Mulberry Street, investigators have arrested two 16 year-old male suspects,” the Baltimore Police Departemtn reported. “Both suspects turned themselves in after seeing their pictures on Baltimore Police Department’s social media page.”

Detectives transported the suspects to Central Booking Intake Facility where they both have been charged as adults for 1st-degree murder.

On July 1, 2021, at approximately 12:31 a.m., a Central District patrol officer was on routine patrol when he located a 38-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 600 block of West Mulberry Street. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
