TULSA , OK – Police have captured and arrested a suspect wanted for the June kidnapping of a 7-year-old girl.

On 6/2/21, officers were called out to a kidnapping at N. Harvard and Tecumseh Ave. Officers learned that before the kidnapping, the 7-year-old victim was walking with her 9-year-old sister and her aunt to a store nearby. During this time, Christopher Webb drove by in a white Dodge Ram at least 7 times.

Webb followed the three to the store, waited in the parking lot, and then followed them back to their apartment.

Several minutes later, the 7-year-old victim walked out of her apartment. That’s when Webb walked up to the victim, grabbed her by the arm, and took her back to his truck. He got in the truck, put the girl in his lap, then sped away.

The girl was kicking and screaming while her family chased after the vehicle. For unknown reasons, Webb stopped the truck while leaving the complex and let the girl out. She ran back to her family, and Webb sped away.
Using surveillance video, officers identified the truck and began stopping and checking vehicles matching the description.

About a week after the kidnapping, officers stopped Christopher Webb on S. Memorial Drive.
After further investigation to ensure that Webb was the suspect in the kidnapping, the Tulsa Police Fugitive Warrants Squad and Exploitation Unit served an arrest warrant and took Webb into custody in Owasso on 7/28/21.
Webb is already charged with Kidnapping, but he was also arrested on four counts of Possession of a Firearm AFCF.
