15-year-old girl shot in Baltimore walking in the neighborhood

BALTIMORE, MD – On July 29, 2021, at approximately 3:16 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers were called to the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon officers arrival, they located a 15-year-old female suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. The victim informed detectives that she was walking in the area of Millington at Wilkens Avenue when she was shot by an unidentified suspect. Southwest District detectives are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2488 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
