Cuomo is out. New York Governor resigns amid multiple accusations of mistreating women

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo today announced his resignation in light of allegations by multiple women that he engaged in sexual harassment in the workplace and created a hostile work environment for women. Cuomo said his resignation will take effect in 14 days. Lt. Governo Kathy Hochul will assume the role as governor. Cuomo insists he is innocent of the allegations but cited potential political and government turmoil as the reason he will resign.
