Taliban shows off “elite” Badri 313 unit armed and equipped with abandoned American equipment

KABUL, AFGHANISTAN – The Taliban this week released a propaganda video of a supposed elite unit, the Badri 313, armed to the teeth and equipped with weapons, gear, uniforms and vehicle abandoned by the United States in their rapid withdrawal from the country.

The Taliban has announced that their elite fighting force, armed with U.S. M-4 combat rifles and heavy machine guns have now deployed to Kabul to provide the city with security.

The Madri 313 also released a photo in an apparent attempt to mock America showing their forces in a the pose made famous by U.S. Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima during World War II.
