LANSDALE, PA – Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Lansdale Borough Police Chief Michael Trail announce detectives are searching for Terrance Marche, 47, of Valley Forge Circle in King of Prussia. Marche is wanted to face First-Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder and related charges for the Nov. 28, 2020 shooting murder of 30-year-old Ebony Pack in her car in Lansdale. Ricky Vance of Philadelphia was previously arrested in April for his involvement in Pack’s murder.
The murder happened a little before 10 p.m. at the intersection of East Hancock Street and Church Road in Lansdale. A joint investigation of the murder by Lansdale Police and Montgomery County Detectives found video surveillance of the shooting from the nearby North Penn School District Educational Building, which showed that the victim’s vehicle was travelling eastbound on East Hancock Street and stopped at 9:56 p.m. for a red light. A second vehicle pulled alongside the driver’s side of Pack’s vehicle and then quickly drove away. The victim’s vehicle rolled through the intersection until it crashed into the light pole. Officers arrived to find Pack suffering from several gunshot wounds, still sitting in the driver’s seat of her Nissan Sedan, which had numerous bullet strikes on the driver’s side door.
Pack was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at Abington-Lansdale Hospital.
The investigation of the murder found that Pack’s vehicle was followed from the Bensalem entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Bensalem, through the Fort Washington exit and into the intersection where she was killed by a passenger in a dark-colored Cadillac owned by Vance.
The Cadillac displayed counterfeit paper Delaware registration tags that were procured for Vance by Marche. Testing on Vance’s car showed particles indicative of gunshot residue on the passenger side of the Cadillac, which is consistent with the video of the shooting. Cellphone records from both Vance’s and Marche’s cellphones reveal that the two men were together in the area of a Philadelphia residence known to them. The cellphones stay there with no outgoing activity throughout the time of the murder. Then after the murder at approximately 10:25 p.m., Vance’s and Marche’s phones begin communicating again with each other as they travelled to Vance’s residence, where the cellphones stayed for a short while. Marche’s cellphone then went back to his King of Prussia residence.
Vance was arrested on First-Degree Murder and related charges on April 22, 2021. Shortly thereafter, Marche was driven to the Philadelphia International Airport by his fiancé for a flight to Honduras, where he was meeting with a man associated with Ebony Pack’s girlfriend. While in Honduras,
Marche’s fiancé was communicating regularly with Marche until all communications stopped abruptly in mid-May, and she was told by the man that Marche “went missing.”
“Detectives have uncovered a lot of evidence in this murder investigation, and we aren’t done yet. Evidence leads to Marche as the shooter in the passenger side of the car driven by Vance. The two men conspired to murder Ebony Pack and possibly conspired with others to do so,” said Steele. “We are looking for the public’s help with any information about this murder and the whereabouts of Marche. The $10,000 reward is still available for anyone who comes forward to detectives with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individuals involved in Ebony Pack’s murder.”
