Ohio State University Student robbed at gunpoint walking to dorm

COLUMBUS, OH – Last night, August 23, 2021 at 11:20 pm, the 21-year-old victim, an Ohio State University student, was walking in the area of King Ave. and Highland St. on the way to his dorm.

At one point the victim heard a male yell at him. The victim turned around to two suspects wearing bandanas and one suspect pointing a handgun at him. The suspects stole items from the victim’s backpack and he was ordered to the ground as the suspects fled.

Officers were able to locate one suspect nearby. That suspect, 20-year-old Arron Anderson, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery.
