WILDWOOD, NJ – Barstool Sports President Dave Portnoy is a pizza guy. He hosts the popular social media vlog “One Bite Pizza Reviews that has over one million subscribers across all platforms, but last week, he found the Jersey Shore’s best-kept secret.

Anyone who has ever been to Duffer’s in Wildwood knows it’s hands down the best ice cream you can find from the bottom of Cape May to the tip of Sandy Hook. Nothing at all compares or even comes close. Don’t believe it? Drive down and see for your self.

Anyone who loves Duffers also knows it’s usually a 1-2 hour wait to get in the door on any given summer night at the Jersey Shore.

Duffer’s didn’t need Portnoy’s testimonial, but after telling his fans Duffer’s “knocked my d–k off”, the restaurant is sure to get a few more customers to wait on already legendary lines just to get inside the place. Luckily, there’s an attached golf course and indoor arcade to pass the time while you wait.

Duffer’s has been in business for 47 years.

“The waffle cone smell when you walk in, your brain goes haywire,” Portnoy said. “The ice cream is so good. It’s so good. It helps that it’s 98 degrees. It’s great ice cream. 9.2 ice cream. It’s spectacular.”

Later, when visiting “Steak-em Up” on the boardwalk, Portnoy visited Jersey’s famous Kohrs Frozen Custard which has shops up and down the shore, but said it was good and average, but ‘didn’t knock my d–k off like that place yesterday [Duffers].”
