Biden’s falls to 36% approval rating after horrific Afghanistan debacle

U.S. President Joe Biden’s approval rating is sitting at 36% as he heads back home to Delaware for a weekend getaway after perhaps the most difficult and defeating two weeks a sitting U.S. president has ever faced politically. Biden’s approval rating dropped from over 50% prior to his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left 13 U.S. service members dead and others critically wounded.

“It’s a nightmare for the White House,” she said. “Afghanistan, that horror in a vacuum would not have damaged his numbers, but the totality of everything that’s happened since April.”
