COLUMBUS, OH – On September 8, 2021 around 6pm, CPD’s Helicopter Unit was dispatched to the Morse Rd. / Walford St. area on a wanted felon with federal warrants who was reported to be traveling with a high risk missing, a 2-month-old baby boy.
CPD dispatchers aired a description of the wanted felon’s vehicle. The helicopter arrived in the area within 90 seconds and began to search.
Several minutes into the search, helicopter pilot Officers Keeton and Williams located the vehicle at Morse Rd. and Westerville Rd.
A short pursuit ensued with patrol officers and the vehicle was stopped. The wanted felon was taken into custody.
