COLUMBUS, OH – On Thursday at 12:51am, a caller heard shots in his neighborhood in the area of Magnolia Blossom Blvd. & Daffodil Drive. Shortly after, someone knocked on the caller’s door and advised that he had been shot.

The victim asked the caller to call 911. First responders arrived several minutes later and discovered a gray Dodge Charger that had several bullet holes in the driver’s door. There were rifle casings inside the car and outside the driver’s door.

Columbus police officers located the scene but were unable to locate the victim. Approximately fifty minutes after the first call, an Uber driver transported the victim, 21-year-old Na’seem O’Neal to St. Ann’s Hospital.

O’Neal said he was struck by gunfire in his back, stomach, and right arm. O’Neal told police that he was delivering marijuana at an unknown location to an unknown client. He stopped near the listed intersection when an occupant of a dark-colored vehicle pulled up and began firing at him for an unknown reason, then drove away.

Anyone with info is asked to contact CPD Felony Assault Det. Pruitt at 614-645-4141 or ipruitt@columbuspolice.org or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS(8477).
