Nancy Pelosi breaks her own Congressional face mask mandate

Robert Walker

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has once again come under fire for breaking a face mask mandate rule. This time, it was her own mandate she violated. Last year, Pelosi came under fire for going unmasked to a hair salon during the height of the U.S. pandemic lockdown.

Now, after imposing a rule that every member of Congress, their staff, and visitors must wear facemasks or face possible fines or even jail time, Pelosi was caught violating her own rule.

After speaking inside the U.S. Capitol, Pelosi left the podium and continued wearing her mask around her chin, possibly creating a serious health risk for those around her who are fully masked and most likely fully vaccinated.

That last part was humor, but the absurdity of Pelosi’s mask mandate was on full display during the clear violation of her own rules.
