This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Robin Catalano, Deputy Chief of the Special Investigations Bureau.

“The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office is proud that Divine Chandler received the maximum sentence for his crimes,” said Assistant District Attorney Robin Catalano. “I want to thank the Special Investigations Section of the Rochester Police Department for conducting this impressive investigation. Fentanyl is a deadly substance and thankfully there is one less dealer in our community.”

“During the month of August alone, there were sixty-eight reported overdoses and nine fatalities according to the Monroe County Heroin Task Force,” said Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley. “Opioid overdoses are killing members of our community and it is people like Divine Chandler who are pushing this poison. Mr. Chandler will have the next nine years to think about the damage he caused while profiting off of addiction.”
