Chris Christie says America would be better off if Trump accepted his defeat

by Robert Walker

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said it would be better off if former U.S. President Donald Trump accepted his loss to Joe Biden and moved on. Christie, who is expected to run against Trump in the 2024 Republican primary election for President is a former ally of Trump but has been critical of 45th President since hinting at his own run for office.

“I think it would be better if he accepted the results of the 2020 election,” Christie said. “And I think that would be better for the country. There hasn’t been any kind of substitive [sic] evidence come forward. If there was I would be out there fighting with him.”

Christie prepped Trump for his debates in 2016 with Hillary Clinton and in 2020 with Joe Biden. It was during the 2020 debate prep where Trump blamed Christie for infecting him with COVID-19.

Trump is continuing with his election fraud claims and “Stop the Steal” campagin. As recent as Thursday morning, Trump sent out emails to his followers reinforcing his election fraud claims.

“We are losing our Country! The Democrats are vicious and fight like hell, and the Republicans do nothing about it. RINOs fight harder against Republicans than they do against Democrats. They want to be so politically correct, even if that means losing our Country, which is happening now,” Trump said. “The evidence on determinative and wide-ranging Election Fraud is staggering. Your Republican Presidential candidate won in a landslide, but has so little backing from Republican “leadership.” They should be ashamed of themselves. Why don’t they have hearings? Or even if just Republicans had open public sessions, we would all hear the irrefutable facts. Remember, the Fake News Media does not report the truth!”

Trump lashed out at Republicans Mike Lee and Lyndsey Graham.

“Mike Lee, Lindsey Graham, and all of the other Republicans who were unwilling to fight for the Presidency of the United States, which would have included at least an additional four Republican Senators, two in Georgia, one in Michigan, one in Arizona, are letting the Democrats get away with the greatest Election Hoax in history—a total con job,” he said.
