U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi visited Lancashire, England last week and was heckeled by a mob of angry Brits telling her to “go home” and that she’s not welcome in the U.K.

“The world knows Trump won…Jesus is coming for you, Nancy,” the rough crowd shouted as she entered the building.

“Go back to Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophile island,” another shouted as she made her public debut in Lancashire.

Pelosi met in Chorley, Lancashire with her peers in the G7.

“It is a privilege to join my G7 colleagues in the United Kingdom to discuss a top priority for legislatures and governments across the world: how to balance security and openness, particularly in light of challenges from the coronavirus pandemic, cyberthreats and terrorism,” said Speaker Nancy Pelosi.  “Public access to the workings of government is a cornerstone of democracy, and it is therefore imperative that parliaments and legislatures remain as open and transparent to the public as possible.  We need to hear from – and be accountable to – those we are privileged to represent, as we work to deliver results in their lives.”

peaker Nancy Pelosi joined the Heads of Parliaments of other G7 nations at the 20th G7 Speakers’ Meeting hosted by Rt. Hon. Sir Lindsay Hoyle MP, Speaker of the UK House of Commons.  The theme of this year’s conference is “Open vs. Secure Parliaments.”  Speaker Pelosi delivered remarks on this topic during the conference’s opening panel focusing on public access.
