Kamala Harris engaged in “frantic damage control” over student’s Israel statement

Vice President Kamala Harris is in damage control mode, CNN reported this week after a comment made by a university student claiming Israel has engaged in ethnic genocide.

Harris’ spokesperson later clarified the Vice President’s interaction and is now ‘scrambling’ to minimize the fallout, according to CNN.

“Throughout her career, the Vice President has been unwavering in her commitment to Israel and to Israel’s security,” Harris’s spokeswoman, Symone Sanders, said. “While visiting George Mason University to discuss voting rights, a student voiced a personal opinion during a political science class. The Vice President strongly disagrees with the student’s characterization of Israel.”
