SUMMERVILLE, SC – It’s not just Democrats who are facing opposition from within their own party this week as U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham spoke in front of Republicans at a fundraiser held by the Dorchester County GOP. Graham was heckled by Republicans when he began talking about the COVID-19 vaccine and let them know he was vaccinated.

Graham then went on to explain that most COVID-19 hospitalizations were among the unvaccinated and the crowd erupted against him.

“You outta think about getting it,” he said to a round of boos and people shouting no. “I didn’t tell you to get it, I told you to think about it.”

“92% of the patients in South Carolina are unvaccinated,” he added.

“Not true,” the crowd said.

“I’m going to lose my job in 60 days, you gotta stop it now,” one unvaccinated Republican shouted.

Graham compared the COVID-19 vaccine to a measles shot, causing the crowd to erupt again. Graham tried to reclaim the crowd, by asking if they were against the vaccine, but it was not successful.
