Boston PD Identifies Suspect in Connection with Bank Robbery

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – At about 9:10 AM on Friday September 17, 2021, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call for a bank robbery on Hanover Street in the North End. Detectives conducted an investigation leading to the identification of a suspect and a subsequent warrant for his arrest.

At this time, Rolando Gala, 39, of Boston, seen in the image above, is wanted on a Straight Warrant sought out of Boston Municipal Court on charges of Unarmed Bank Robbery. Detectives assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) and the Violent Crime Task Force continue to review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and are urging anyone with information relative to this investigation or knowledge of the suspect’s current whereabouts to contact (617) 343-4248.
