Shot Spotter alert helps Police Locate 4 Shooting Victims, 1 dead

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On October 6, 2021, at approximately 6:46 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 1200 Patterson Park Avenue to investigate a “Shot Spotter” alert for gunfire. When officers arrived at the scene they observed two female victims ages 38 and 34, along with two males victims, ages 29 and 23 suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, the 38 year-old female succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

Moments later, two additional male gunshot wound victims ages 18 and 30 walked into an area hospital seeking medical treatment.

Homicide investigators have assumed control over the investigation.
