D.C. Suspect Burglarized Home then Stole Victim’s Vehicle, Police Say

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Burglary One/Theft One Stolen Auto offense that occurred on Monday, September 27, 2021, in the 1900 block of C Street, Southeast.

At approximately 10:00 pm, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property, moved the victim’s vehicle, and then fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
