TULSA, OK On October 13th, just before 11 a.m., officers were called out to 4900 E. I-244 for a shooting (near Yale).

When officers arrived, they found a woman in the driver’s seat of a Honda Pilot stopped on the side of the road. The woman had a gunshot wound to her stomach.

The victim says she was driving through Tulsa to pick up a friend in Big Cabin. While driving on I-244, the victim says she heard a pop, then felt a pain in her stomach. She looked down and realized she was bleeding.

Officers found a hole in the door of the victim’s car that is consistent with a bullet hole.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, she did not need surgery, and she has since been treated and released.
