Baltimore Gunshot Victim Walked in to Hospital for Treatment

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On October 24, 2021 at approximately 3:14 a.m., officers responded to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment.

Upon arrival, officers located a 23 year-old male who was was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his left forearm. The victim told officers he had gotten into an argument at a bar in Baltimore County. When he was leaving the bar, he noticed a vehicle following behind his. When he drove into the 2600 block of Wilkens Avenue, the vehicle pulled along side his and someone inside that vehicle discharged a firearm striking the victim.

Southwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2488 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
