Officers Arrest Two Following a Call for a Person With a Gun In Dorchester

DORCHESTER, MASSACHUSETTS – At about 5:20 p.m., Officers assigned to District B-3 Officers responded to a radio call for a person with a gun at Almont Park. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who had been assaulted in the park. The victim advised officers that multiple males had attacked him and that one of the males had a firearm.

Detectives assigned to District B-3 recovered video footage from Almont Park, and multiple vehicles were seen fleeing after the assault. A description was broadcast, and shortly thereafter, Officers assigned to District C-11 located the vehicles, still occupied, in the area Dakota Street. B-3 detectives responded, and a subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Ronildson Semedo, 21, of Boston, and Adilson Andrade, 30, of Boston.

Ronildson Semedo is to be charged with Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon (shod foot) and Assault and Battery. Adilson Andrade is to be charged with assault with a Dangerous Weapon (firearm). Semedo and Andrade are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
