Six Shot, Three Dead in Mischief Night Mayhem in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Baltimore Police reported six shootings that left three dead on Saturday.

At approximately 3:03 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 2900 block of Cherryland Road for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers located a 38 year-old male suffering from an apparent non life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At approximately 7:10 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 3600 block of Gibbons Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon officers arrival, they located a 53 year-old female, alert and conscious, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Investigators are currently interviewing a possible person of interest.


At approximately 2:41 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 900 block of West Mulberry Street. Once at the the location, officers located a 32 year-old female suffering from an apparent non life threatening gunshot wound and an adult male suffering from a serious gunshot wound. Medics transported the victims to area hospitals where the adult male was later pronounced dead.

At approximately 2:26 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Potee Street for a report of a shooting. Once at the location, officers located a 32 year-old male suffering from trauma to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was standing in the 3500 block of Potee Street when unidentified suspects shot at the victim, missing him. As the victim attempted to flee the location, the suspects then struck the victim with their vehicle.

At approximately 10:34 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Once at the location, officers located a 24 year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim’s injuries are believed to be non life threatening. A location of this incident is unknown at this time.

At approximately 11:26 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of Hillman Street, for a report of a shooting. Once at the location, officers located a 46 year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
