Man shot dead overnight in Camden

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting Thursday night in Camden, announced Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 1300 block of Lakeshore Drive at approximately 11:37 p.m. They located an unconscious male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male succumbed to his injuries at Cooper Hospital at 12:12 a.m. Friday. He has been identified as Kwamere Brown, 22, of Camden.
